Overview
What Screamer is, and who it's built for.
Screamer is where you say what's on your mind and actually get heard. Post a scream, react to the ones that hit home, and follow the accounts that keep your feed worth checking. It's fast, it's simple, and it's built for people who just want to post and move on with their day.
Every account works the same way from the moment you sign up — see Roles & Permissions for how that plays out. Sign up, build a profile, and you're ready to scream, follow, like, comment, and repost right away.
Who Screamer is for
Screamer is for anyone who wants a place to post without the noise. Check out Features for a full walkthrough of everything you can do, from your first scream to building a feed you actually want to read.
Core concepts
- Account — your presence on Screamer, with a unique username, a display name, an emoji avatar, and a bio to introduce yourself.
- Scream — a short post. Add an image, tag it, mention other accounts, and edit or take it down whenever you want.
- Feed — browse everyone on Screamer, or switch to following for a feed built entirely from accounts you choose.
