Features

Everything you can do on Screamer, all in one place.

Authentication

Sign up with a username and password, and you are in.

  • Create an account with a username and password in seconds.
  • Log in and out whenever you like, right from any page.
  • No forms to fill out beyond the basics — just pick a name and go.

Screams

The core post type. Say it, share it, and own it.

  • A scream is a short post that can carry an image, hashtag-style tags, and @mentions of other accounts.
  • You are always the one in control of your own screams — edit or take one down anytime.
  • Bookmark a scream to come back to later, or repost it so your followers see it too.

Likes, comments, and reposts

React to and discuss the screams that catch your eye.

  • Like the screams that resonate with you.
  • Comment to start or join the conversation.
  • Repost a scream to put it in front of your own followers.

Follow graph

Curate your feed by following the accounts you want to hear from.

  • Follow or unfollow anyone, anytime.
  • Every profile shows follower and following counts, so you can see who is connected.
  • Following is open — no requests, no approvals, just follow and go.

Feeds

Two ways to see what is happening.

  • The global feed puts every scream on the platform in front of you, newest first.
  • The following feed keeps things personal — just the accounts you follow.

Profiles

A home base for your screams, your stats, and your story.

  • Your profile shows your screams, an emoji avatar, your bio, and your stats.
  • Anyone can check out a profile, signed in or not, to see what an account is all about.

Drafts

Get your thoughts down before you are ready to post.

  • Save a scream as a draft while you are still working on it.
  • Come back anytime to edit, discard, or publish it for real.

Search & topics

Find the screams and accounts you are looking for.

  • Search across screams and accounts by keyword.
  • Tags turn into topic pages, so you can browse everything on a subject at once.

Notifications, mentions & activity

Stay on top of what is happening with your account.

  • Notifications let you know when someone follows, likes, or replies to you.
  • Mentions rounds up every scream where someone tagged your @username.
  • Activity gives you a running history of what you have been up to.
